Updated (February 2023) We stayed in Barrasford for the third time and as soon as we arrive, we can’t wait to go to the Barrasford Arms! The Sunday dinner is amazing, burger night is immense and the locals are incredibly friendly! We stayed in Barrasford for a second time and it was rude not to visit the Barrasford Arms - on multiple occasions throughout the week (May 2022) and we weren’t disappointed. Food delicious (we can’t recommend the Sunday dinners or Thursday night burger night enough) and the staff and locals are so friendly you feel part of the village family. Visited the Barrasford Arms when staying in the area (January 2022). Food is delicious and the staff and locals are friendly. I’d certainly recommend!

Country pub, near Wall, The Barrasford Arms offers a simple, rustic menu. The meals here are delicious, Sunday lunch 5 stars and our party of 6 were happy. Seating areas both inside and outside; good catering! Definitely going back for a meal.

13th March 2019. Lovely location, clean and cosy with a rustic feel to it. Open fire in bar. Service very good, friendly and attentive staff. Food tasty but in my opinion a little over priced. Expected food to be outstanding as found it in the good food guide, a little disappointed.

It's been a while since my last visit but it was so nice to see the Barrasford Arms is still an oasis of sanity in our increasingly mad world. I can't speak for the rooms, I just had dinner with a friend. But we got good beer, good food, great service and a wonderful countryside ambience. What's not to like?

We went to this restaurant twice and were very impressed. We had the steak (cooked just right), Sausage and mash, and fish and chips. Food was delicious and extra level tasty. Staff really friendly and accomodating our small baby

Recently stayed at The Barrasford Arms for a night. Beyond impressed with how welcoming everything and everyone was. The room was warm and comfortable but with plenty of space for luggage. There was even an electric heater and drying rack which is great for potential bad weather. It’s little touches like that which you don’t get at so many other places. The glass bottles of water and supplies in the room are great too. The bathrooms have big towels, warm showers, and some really lovely bath supplies. There are amazing views of the surrounding area and Barrasford is lovely in general. Breakfast was delicious (definitely get the Full Northumberland). I cannot wait to get to stay there again soon!

Just had lunch today and the food was amazing. The prices were very reasonable, the portion size was decent, the staff were friendly and the location is idyllic. You can't beat lunch under the July sun in the Tyne Valley.
